Former NFL wide receiver Rondale Moore has died at the age of 25. Authorities in New Albany, Indiana confirmed that Moore was found in a garage on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound. Officials have stated that the case remains under investigation, and an autopsy has been scheduled.

College Football Stardom at Purdue

Moore rose to national prominence at Purdue University, where he became one of the most dynamic players in college football. In 2018, he earned All-American honors and won the Paul Hornung Award, given annually to the nation’s most versatile player.

During his freshman season, Moore electrified fans with his speed, agility, and playmaking ability, quickly establishing himself as one of the brightest young talents in the country.

NFL Career and Draft Journey
